Stephen Flinn is a master trainer and facilitator of "The Rhythmic Arts Project" (TRAP) curriculum. For the last four years (2010-2015), he taught TRAP exercises at Lanterman High School in Los Angeles, CA, which serves teens and adults with intellectual and developmental differences.
In addition, he has conducted three teacher trainings of the TRAP program at the Rich Center for Autism in Youngstown, Ohio. Stephen has given over 12,000 private lessons and has facilitated over 1,100 TRAP ensemble classes.
He is also a professional percussionist who has performed throughout Europe, Japan, and the United States. Stephen has written numerous articles for Modern Drummer and Downbeat magazines, and has just released his first book, “Contemporary Urban Percussion.” He is a graduate of Seattle University.
